With the New Technologies and New materials, 3D Printing May Achieve Rapid Mass Production

The latest developments in 3D printing

Regarding 3D printing, many people's impressions may still be in the model printing stage, which is what everyone calls the proofing stage, but now 3D printing has been applied in small-batch manufacturing. The expansion of 3D printing from small-scale manufacturing to mass production has become an emerging trend. The current challenges of 3D printers are the limitations of printing size, speed, and materials.

MINGDA is committed to the research and development and production of large-size 3D printers. Currently, the largest printing size can reach 1000x1000x1000mm. Recently, MINGDA broke through the FDM 3D printing technology, increased the printing speed, achieved high-temperature printing at 350°C and improved engineering materials. Realize rapid customized products in small batches, help the enterprises create product differentiation, reduce mold opening costs, shorten the product's R&D time, and quickly enter the market to achieve economic returns.

New material PET-CF

PET-CF is an engineering-grade filament for high-strength additive manufacturing applications. With exceptional dimensional stability and low moisture absorption, it's the perfect material for printing in industrial environments. Capable of producing exceptionally strong, stiff parts with a fine surface finish and heat resistance up to 100 °C, this material is ideal for functional, performance applications. And MINGDA's improved PET-CF has good stability during printing, no edge warping, no odor, and no need for a heat preservation chamber. MINGDA PET-CF is suitable for parts subject to long-term stress. MINGDA PET-CF is 3-4 times stronger than ABS. Widely used in automotive and industrial fields, such as exterior cover parts, fixed brackets, etc.

In addition, based on the high strength properties of MINGDA PET-CF, during 3D printing, the use of supports can be reduced and the loss of materials can be reduced.

Below are the parts of the PET-CF batch printed by MINGDA 3D printer MD-600 PRO. These parts are finally completed for industrial assembly testing.
